Milk – Concept

Fresh Watch Milk Container

To demonstrate how the Inventables Marketplace can be used to inspire new product innovations, we brainstormed and created renderings for some new product concepts. Each of the concepts takes a unmet need and marries it with a material or technology found in the marketplace.

Determining if milk has spoiled can be a less than desirable job. Using a technology called a “chemical nose,” which is an array of vapor-sensitive metal ion dyes known as metalloporphyrins, you can detect the odor of spoiled milk and give a visual indication of smell. This means that when the milk spoils, special ink on the package can activate, indicating the milk is no longer safe to drink.

To fully communicate the idea for this product Inventables teamed up with Roman Coppola’s Directors Bureau and made this commercial called “Fresh Watch”. Don’t let milk spoil your morning.
