2/16/2005 – Chicago, IL
Inventables announced today that co-founders Zach Kaplan and Keith Schacht have been invited to speak at the Technology Entertainment Design (TED) Conference in Monterey, California.
The presentation will be a thought provoking walk through six provocative technologies the Inventables team found in their research. Schacht and Kaplan will also unveil two commercials for future product concepts they worked on with Roman Coppola and his team at the Directors Bureau. The commercials will illustrate the potential for the new to the world technologies that give rise to the revolutionary product concepts. The presentation will leave you thinking outside the box and into the future.
The TED Conference is an invitation only event that brings together over 800 of the country’s most successful thought-leaders, movers and shakers, in the fields of technology, entertainment and design. The conference will take place February 23-26 at the Monterey Conference Center. Schacht and Kaplan will speak on Thursday, February 24 at 8:30am.
The TED Conference boasts a long history of innovation, including the public unveiling of the Macintosh computer and the Sony compact disc at the first TED Conference in 1984. Schacht and Kaplan will join the ranks of esteemed past speakers when they engage and invigorate attendees with the latest in unique materials and technologies. In true TED fashion, design professionals can expect to walk away inspired and with fresh perspectives on the future of consumer products.
