As the Sales and Marketing Manager at Inventables, my main focus is to interact with current and potential users of Inventables Marketplace. I am responsible for gathering customer feedback and market research in order to provide a basis for our marketing strategy development.

A graduate of Boston College Carroll School of Management. She majored in General Management with a focus in Finance and Marketing. She is also engaged in her alumni network and serves as the Communications Chair for the Boston College Chicago Alumni Chapter. She enjoys being active. Last fall she ran the Chicago Marathon and plans to run again 2010.

In managing the Customer Success department, my number one goal is for our clients to have an exceptional experience using the Inventables product. I strive to deliver the best customer service in the world by establishing, on a personal level, a transparent, easily accessible environment, within which, people will feel comfortable voicing their needs. I have worked as a customer service representative for over 15 years, in various industries, and one simple truth is consistent throughout. Success comes from listening to your customers.

Phil Lomac has a BA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, over 15 years of customer service experience in the hospitality, retail and healthcare industries and speaks fluent German. Phil is also a songwriter, who has recorded and released several albums and has performed extensively throughout the United States.

Executive Assistant to CEO & Human Resources Administrator

In my Executive Assistant role, I serve as the Director of First Impressions for Inventables. I take pride in upholding a world-class attitude to ensure your experience with us is top-notch. In addition, I administrate our Human Resources department. This gives me the ability to do all that I can to represent the team’s thoughts and opinions on our company to help guarantee organizational success. I also have the opportunity to always be on the lookout for outstanding, exceptional candidates to join our team.

Candace Morey is currently pursuing her MA in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She holds a BA in Psychology from The College of Saint Rose.

As the CEO, I set the vision and strategic direction for Inventables. In addition to managing the day to day operations I head up our product development and sales efforts. I have a unique set of career accomplishments that include starting, growing, and selling a software company and working in new product development efforts at Fortune 500 companies ranging from Coca-Cola to Mercedes-Benz. This puts me in the unique position to lead our team to accelerate the pace of global product development using the web to intelligently connect product developers with material and technology suppliers. In 2005, I was invited to speak at the TED conference and my success at Inventables has been covered in by major news outlets including Business Week, Fortune, Fast Company, and CNN.

Zach Kaplan earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2001. His accomplishments building a scale model roller coaster were recognized with a Technical Achievement Scholarship. Professional he was part of the Inventables team that won an IDEA award from the Industrial Design Society of America. In 2006 he was honored by the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago as a “Modern Leonardo” and his work was on display in the Museum.
